What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a built-in digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan without inserting a physical SIM card into your device.
Because the SIM information is stored directly on the smartphone or tablet, you can easily set up or change your mobile plan without handling a physical card.
Key features of eSIM
- No need to swap SIM cards
You don’t have to insert or remove a physical SIM card. - Easy online activation
Simply scan a QR code or enter an activation code provided by your carrier to set up your cellular plan. -
Use multiple lines on one device
Some devices allow you to register multiple eSIM profiles and switch between them depending on your needs — for example, separating work and personal lines.
